Welcome to the Terms of Service (the “TOS”) for Myrtle Beach TV News Channel, LLC (“MBTV News,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These TOS govern your access to and use of our website, social media platforms, content, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Agreement to Terms
These TOS constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MBTV News. By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these TOS and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Intellectual Property Rights
MBTV News owns and retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all content, copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property rights (collectively, “MBTV News Content”).
License and Restrictions
These TOS do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Except as expressly permitted herein, you may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display MBTV News Content
- Repost or share MBTV News Content on social media platforms
- Modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit MBTV News Content
Any use of MBTV News Content not expressly authorized by these TOS constitutes a violation of our intellectual property rights.
Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe that any user-generated content posted on our Services infringes your intellectual property rights or is defamatory, you may submit a written notice requesting review of the alleged infringement.
DMCA Takedown Notices
MBTV News complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. ยง 512). We reserve the right to remove or disable access to content that is alleged to infringe intellectual property rights upon receipt of a proper notice.
To submit a DMCA takedown notice, your written notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on our Services
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf

Counter-Notices
If you believe content you posted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice in accordance with the DMCA. Details regarding the counter-notice process are available upon request.
Applicable Law
These TOS, any supplemental terms, and any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Venue and Jurisdiction
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these TOS or your use of the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Horry County, South Carolina. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts based on inconvenient forum or any other basis.
